Bunker Hill

Bunker Hill is a round-based asymmetrical games where a group of people ranging from 3 to 10 fight against each other. Each player plays an Actor, characters that have abilities that differentiate them from other Actors. These Actors have move-sets with a fixed amount of 5 abilities, (3 abilities, if not counting the M1 and the M2), and stats that include HP, Walk Speed, Run Speed, Stamina, and two others that are original to Bunker Hill: Dominance and Resilience.

A match starts a 5 minutes; this is the initial time given to kill everyone and (possibly) become the last actor standing. If an Actor dies, 45 seconds are added to the timer.

If a round ends while there are more than 2 Actors, no one in specific is declared victory nor loss, but every Actor gains some XP and Currency. Though, if 2 actors are left, the game enters 1V1 mode. This plays a song, depending on a hidden statistic that’s dictated by the highest damage dealt Actor in the server, and both Actors have 2 minutes to kill — or die. If the timer ends and the Actors don’t kill each other, both are declared loss.

To add variety to the gameplay loop, maps have randomized Obstacles inspired by Grace and Nullscape's entities. They spawn in respective areas on each map, and have multiple effects and types.

About Dominance and Resilience

Dominance and Resilience are calculated in the same unit (❞) from 1 to 5. Dominance determines the damage multiplier an Actor gets when in a boss-raid situation. For every point of Dominance an Actor has (x), and for the amount of players fighting each-other (must be over 3) (y), the function is: 1 + (x ⋅ (y - 3)) / 10

Resilience determines the damage resistance an Actor gets when in a boss-raid situation, similarly to Dominance For every point of Resilience an Actor has (x), and for the amount of players fighting each-other (must be over 3) (y), the function is: 1 + (x ⋅ (y - 3)) / 12
